  • AMBASSADORS 
    Chair: Dan Nase, CityScene Magazine
    Chamber members serve as "good will" ambassadors to retain members and serve as their voice for business needs/issues.


    BENEFITS
    Chair: Mark Faubel, Jericho Financial
    Reviews current membership benefits and researches potential opportunities for creating members savings. Also, expands and promotes the 'business to business' benefit on the Chamber's web site.


    BUSINESS ADVOCACY COUNCIL
    Chair: Jeff Akers, Columbus State Community College
    Works with elected officials to support and/or establish legislation, regulations, and policies that represent members' top concerns and enables businesses to thrive and compete locally, nationally and internationally. Also, it provides related educational programs, materials, reviews and makes recommendations on local school and city issues affecting business.

     

    BUSINESS INCLUSION AND OPPORTUNITIES COUNCIL (BIOC)

    To advance and facilitate an environment that fosters a sustainable relationship with business owners and professionals of diverse cultures

    VETERAN CHAMPION OF THE YEAR
    Chair: Israel Arroyo, Stealth Entry Cyber Security Solutions
    Assists in promoting the annual award, revises guidelines or selection process as necessary, reviews applications, interviews candidates, and selects recipient and finalists.


    CHAMBER FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP BOARD
    President: President: Ron Cunningham, BMI Credit Union
    Board members serve one to three-year terms managing the Chamber's 501c3 Foundation which funds educational scholarships for approved individuals of Chamber businesses and selected high school students.


    CPA NETWORK
    Chair: Janet Tressler-Davis, Westerville Area Chamber
    A network designed for chamber member CPAs to provide a forum for voicing concerns, giving feedback, and providing support for others with similar business practices.


    EVENING OF ELEGANCE
    Chair: Tara Kubinski, Telhio Credit Union
    Held annually in November, Evening of Elegance is our Chamber's largest fundraising event of the year. This formal event provides a dazzling experience for our members, their guests, and those in our community. This event includes a plated dinner, live and silent auctions, tastings, a raffle, & more. Proceeds benefit Chamber operating expenses and general community contributions. 

    GOLF OUTING

    WESTERVILLE MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL
    Logistics Chair: Paul Hammer, Ace Handyman Services NE Columbus 
    Music Chair: Chris Minton
    Volunteer Chair: Curt Russell, AAA Ohio
    Now in its 48th year, the annual Westerville Music & Arts Festival brings together hundreds of local fine artists, craft makers, musicians and food vendors for one of Westerville's most beloved annual community traditions. Next year, the event will be held on July 8 and 9, 2023 at Heritage Park.
     

    PROGRAM COMMITTEE
    Chair: David Dziedzicki, Ohio Health
    Develops lunch programs and Business After Hours events to promote membership involvement and business promotion between members..
     

    LUNCH & LEARNS
    Contact: Rachel Crites, Westerville Area Chamber
    Hosted in the Chamber conference room every third Tuesday of the month, this free event will have a new topic each month led by a selected Chamber member representative with knowledge of the topic.     A TASTE OF WESTERVILLE
    Chair: Ali Redinger, Robin Enterprises, and Derrick Manley, Kemba Credit Union
    A casual yearly spring event providing a taste of Westerville with a wine and beer tasting. April 28th, 2022 at The Little Turtle Golf Club.

     

    WOMEN IN BUSINESS
    Chair: Adrienne Shonkwiler, LuLaRoe
    The Women In Business Network aims to deliver meaningful educational opportunities, while inspiring participants to courageously take what they've learned back to their organization.  Westerville's Women in Business Network provides a trust-based learning environment within the Chamber. Our goal is to encourage members to share, learn and help each other succeed
     

    YOUNG LEADERS OF WESTERVILLE
    Co-Chairs: Marlena Moore & RJ Swindaman, Fernweh LLC
    A network of young professionals networking with people of similar ages and goals for leadership and business opportunities while making a difference in the community. A support system and source for business contacts.
     

    SMALL OFFICE HOME OFFICE (SOHO):
    Chair: Jean Glagola owner of Pearlescent Photography and Capow! Columbus
    A network designed to support and inspire each participant by sharing ideas, problem solving, strategizing and by learning from each other's experiences. 
     

    WESTERVILLE BAR ASSOCIATION (WBA)
    Chair: Kyle Stroh, Metz, Bailey & McLoughlin
    A network for Chamber member attorneys to provide a forum for voicing concerns, giving feedback, and providing support for others with similar business practices. WBA also has its own website, which is currently under construction.
