About the Chamber

The Westerville Area Chamber has more than 740 members representing various business and community interests. For over 55 years, Chamber members have joined together to enhance the community's quality of life and the economic, civic and cultural growth of the Westerville Area.

A voluntary organization representing the business community, the Chamber is a private, nonprofit, taxpaying corporation. It unites hundreds of businesses, professionals and individuals, creating a unique organization that works to improve business and build an even stronger community.

The Chamber includes people just like you, who realize that collectively, through a business organization, they can accomplish more than what one can do individually. The strength of the Chamber lies in its members, creating a pool of resources from which ideas, creativity and finances flow. It has created programs that solicit new business, retain existing ones and improve the economic climate and quality of life in Westerville.

The Chamber is...

  1. A professional organization that serves as the collective voice of the business community, advocating for pro-business issues.
  2. Comprised of 15 active committees made up of businesses focusing on the Chamber's mission.
  3. An organization that brings value-added benefits, such as reduced pricing for group-rated health insurance plans, workers' compensation premiums and office supplies.
  4. Comprised of monthly meetings and annual events; 40+ opportunities are available per year for members to network and promote their business and services to other Chamber members and community leaders.

Statement on social injustices:

The Westerville Area Chamber is driven by our mission and uphold our values through our daily efforts of: Advocate, Inspiration, Collaboration, Inclusion and Innovate and Tradition.

We believe in supporting and promoting all the employees and businesses equally.  Our business community does not tolerate violence and harassment toward others.  We strive for diversity among the leadership of the Chamber to broaden our thoughts and perspectives in representing the business community.   The WACC will use its role as a convener along with the collective power of the businesses to keep the lines of communication open, encourage participation to drive economic prosperity and to demand more from ourselves and our nation.

We commit to working with our community partners to assure we have systemic change throughout our society. We ask greater Westerville businesses and employees to ensure that everyone’s rights are respected- no matter their race, ethnicity or national origin.   We encourage thoughtful reflection and cooperation on a more equitable future for greater Westerville.  It requires us to engage in conversations about race and speaking up when we see injustices.

We are a community of caring and friendly people.  We have been and we can continue to be a united TEAM where Together Everyone Accomplishes More in our efforts to draw on our rich, strong heritage advocating for meaningful and lasting  systemic change.
