The Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Women’s Auxiliary Council will host award winning, international and #1 New York Times bestselling author Laura Schroff on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Laura’s book, An Invisible Thread, is a powerful and thought-provoking true story of the meeting of an 11-year old panhandler and a busy sales executive on a New York City street in 1986. This unlikely and lifechanging meeting forged a lasting friendship that continues today. It is the story of the unseen connections that exist between people who are destined to meet and how, if only we open our eyes and our hearts to them, these connections can be the greatest blessings of our lives.
