    Worthington, OH -- The American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO) named central Ohio physician, Terrence Philbin, D.O. as the 76th President of the association.  Philbin was inducted as president at the AOAO Annual Fall Meeting this past weekend held at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. 
    As President, Philbin is responsible for the continued growth of the AOAO including representing the association on a national level in regards to accreditation, legislative issues, outreach within medical residency programs, industry awareness and education of the osteopathic orthopedic surgeon profession.  
    “During my tenure as President, I plan to lead AOAO to its maximum potential by strengthening the membership, encouraging involvement and preparing the organization for single accreditation,” said Philbin. “It’s a tremendous honor to serve this community of physicians.”
    Philbin is a practicing Orthopedic Surgeon and Partner at Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Center, headquartered in Worthington, Ohio.  Philbin, team physician for Dublin Coffman High School, resides in Dublin with his family.
