    MARKETING/COMMUNICATONS SPECIALIST INTERN

    Z Promotions is an EOE and is seeking a part-time Marketing/Communications intern for our Pickerington, OH office.  Those with Marketing/Communications experience are desired for a 90-day paid internship.  An extension may be available at the end of the 90-day term after review.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Data input, research, analysis, strategy and compiles case studies.
    • Required development of knowledge/education/experience/skills through provided workshops, internal meetings, vendor meetings, industry publications, networks and participation in professional organizations, which will be provided by and associated with Z Promotions.
    • Communicates with customers and prospects by phone, email, written correspondence or in person.
    • Generates media list, writes press releases, generates social media content and website content.
    • Attend and engage at assigned meetings, events, tradeshows, conferences and client functions.
    • Performs product research, keeps operating records, files catalogs and samples, mailings, pick up or delivery, and performs work of superiors and subordinates, as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS and EXPECTATIONS
    • Education and Experience - One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
    • Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Physical Demands - The physical demands described represent the minimum required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
