    Job Description
    Dale Carnegie of Central Ohio is looking for a full-time experienced Administrative Assistant in Columbus, OH. The focus of this role is to help the organization grow by handling all office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.
    The ideal candidate will also develop relationships with key accounts to maintain client satisfaction and continued business. 
    • Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines, and mail machine.
    • Manage all social media in collaboration with our PR partners.
    • Create Marketing Campaigns
    • Provide general sales support (data management)
    • Serve as the customer advocate and liaison
    • Respond to questions and requests for information
    • Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and order items
    • Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed
    • Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, and reordering supplies for Dale Carnegie Programs.
    • Providing real-time scheduling support.
    • Knowledge of CRM software and other client management tools.
    • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
    • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
    • Attention to detail.
    • Prior administrative experience.
    • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
    • Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

    • $30,000-$32,000 – starting salary
    • Salary tiered based on performance

    We present the Dale Carnegie, Winning with Relationship Selling, Leadership Training for Managers and High Impact Presentations courses, as well as, virtual live online programs, two-hour and half-day workshops on a regularly scheduled basis throughout Central Ohio. Additionally, we provide custom training for our corporate clients.
    • Administrative Experience: 3 years (Preferred)
    • Education: Associate degree in related field or other.
