Our theme for 2021 is "The Moral Imperative to Love." In light of the unusual health circumstances facing our community\, our 2021 celebration is entirely virtual and free to the public on Monday\, January 18\, 2021 beginning at 8 a.m.\n\n\n\nEverything you've come to expect and enjoy from past celebrations will be available at your fingertips. We are fortunate to have the incomparable Angela An\, WBNS 10TV serving as our emcee. We will honor two exceptional community leaders who exemplify Dr. King's legacy in our community\, enjoy the voices of Westerville South students\, and be inspired by our keynote speaker\, Westerville's own\, Father Joseph Kovitch\, St. Matthew's Episcopal Church. \n\nThis event is free for our community this year and we ask that you consider making a donation in lieu of purchasing a ticket. All of the proceeds from the breakfast will be used to support the work of the LW-MLK Legacy Project in "Advancing Towards Becoming the Beloved Community\," including our series of Community Conversations.\n\n \n\nAll registrations must be in by noon on Sunday\, January 17\, 2021 to receive the link to attend. JOSEPH KOVITCH\n\n\n\nFather Joseph Kovitch is a child of God who is committed to being a servant leader and seeks to honor the image of God in all people. He serves as both priest at St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Uptown Westerville and as Columbus area church developer/planter creating new ways of being a church with and for the community. Fr. Joseph and his wife Marie have been married for 34 years and have two sons. He has been ordained for 27 years and has committed himself to Martin Luther King's vision of the Beloved Community. As your keynote speaker\, you should know that he is a follower of Jesus Christ who seeks to live the moral imperative to love and who celebrates the beautiful diversity of God's children of all creeds\, races\, cultures\, and loves.
