Joe Bidinger is the Founder and Distiller at Echo Spirits Distilling Co., a craft distillery in the Grandview neighborhood of Columbus. Joe was born and raised in Columbus, attending Bishop Watterson High School and The Ohio State University, graduating with a major in Finance and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Coming out of college during the '08 recession, he began a career at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, working in IT developing the electronic medical record for 11 years before making the leap to pursue his dream full time.

Echo Spirits is focused on producing spirits with a history as rich as their flavor and having a relationship with the community.  Along with partner Nikhil Sharoff, Joe opened Echo Spirits in October 2019. Their story before, and after, is one of hurdles, perseverance, and making it up as they went along. That perseverance has paid off, as all three of their current products are award-winners. Echo Spirits believes that businesses can find a balance between people, profit, and planet, and that no incremental improvement is too small to be worthy.
