            • Quarterly Membership Luncheon - September 2022

Successful businesses today are shifting their focus beyond making a profit, and are now seeking to fulfill their potential while advancing a higher purpose and creating meaningful change in the lives of employees, customers, investors, vendors, and community stakeholders alike, so all people can flourish.

Join us on September 13 as Haley Boehning, CEO of Storyforge and founding board member of Conscious Capitalism Columbus, leads a conversation with four passionate and compassionate area business leaders who are working toward this holistic goal by embracing strategies centered on higher purpose, conscious leadership, stakeholder orientation, and conscious culture.

              Moderator:
              Haley Boehning
              Storyforge CEO
Haley is passionate about helping leaders achieve the clarity and alignment necessary to get everyone and everything in their business on the same page, so they can have the impact they want.
She founded Storyforge in 2014, after decades of experience working with leaders of Fortune-500 companies, nonprofits and start-ups to create alignment and engagement through the story. But it was her 16-year career in the corporate world that gave her the opportunity to witness first-hand the disparity in long-term results, engagement and impact that occurs when business leaders and their stakeholders are on different pages about the things that truly matter.
Since then, she has worked with hundreds of ambitious and impact-driven leaders to close these gaps, align their teams behind a clear vision, purpose and mission and get meaningful results.
Haley is a founding board member of Conscious Capitalism Columbus, and has served on Conscious Capitalism Inc.'s Community Advisory Council and Chapter Task Force, where she helped redesign the international chapter model. She is a founding member of The Matriots, Ohio's first multi-partisan PAC dedicated to electing more women to public office and a member and chapter sponsor of The National Association of Women Business Owners. Haley was named to Columbus CEO's 2020 Future 50 list, recognizing her as a leader with the ideas, energy and heart to move the region forward in the critical decade ahead.
Haley studied at the Tisch School of the Arts, Playwrights Horizons and The American School in Switzerland (Lugano) before receiving her bachelor of arts cum laude from New York University's Gallatin School. When she's not advocating for business as a force for good in the world through her clients or community engagement, Haley can be found hand-washing her bright yellow 1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, running late to a yoga class or grinding a winch on a sailboat somewhere in the world.

              Panelists:
              Jen Bowden
IGS Energy, Vice President, Brand and Social Impact
Jen Bowden has experienced nearly two decades leading transformational initiatives across a variety of industries. Currently, she is leading marketing and social impact for IGS Energy, where she has been instrumental in their recent brand evolution and sustainability efforts. She created the organization's social impact team in 2014 and has since led organizational initiatives in innovation, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability, spearheading the organization's commitment to be carbon neutral by 2040.

              Christine Dilley
              MAD Scientist Associates LLC, CEO/Co-Owner
              CEO/Co-owner of Scioto Gardens Nursery
Christine is CEO of MAD Scientist Associates, LLC, a central Ohio wetland and ecological consulting firm providing services throughout Ohio and the Midwest. Prior to joining, MAD Christine had a seven-year career at Battelle, exposing her to the world of scientific consulting.  Christine and the MAD team strive to Make A Difference for clients and in the community.  In 2019 Christine became a co-owner of Scioto Gardens Nursery, which specializes in native plants, located in Delaware, Ohio.  Her B.S. degree was earned at The Ohio State University and her MBA at Franklin University.

Additionally, Christine also currently serves as Vice President of Communications on the NAWBO Columbus Board of Directors.   In 2019, MAD was honored to be Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce's Small Business of the Year, and in 2020 & 2022 MAD was Green Columbus' Green Spotlight Small Business Winner.  In her spare time, Christine enjoys genealogy research, gardening, and taking walks.

              Tia Johnson
              Fresh Bloom Bins, CEO
Tia Johnson, a 'Futures Thinking' individual, set a goal early in her life to help the next generation thrive, grow and prosper mentally and financially. To accomplish this, Tia formed her now award-winning company Enlighten Angle Financial where as CEO, she set and achieved several milestones. She has been recognized as a mental health, behavior advocate, professional youth empowerment speaker, and life success coach.
Tia has specialized in helping youth and adults thrive in their life journey to overcome adversity and help them develop financial literacy skills to realize their full potential as positive contributors to their communities and families. She has gained a reputation as a trailblazer and motivational speaker in the areas of self-esteem building, mentorship, money mindset guru, positive youth development and girl empowerment.  Tia has touched many lives through her presentations on critical thinking and power life planning sessions that reached school aged children, adults and community organizations.

On her entrepreneurial journey and scholarly research on environmental issues and sustainability she established a new business, Fresh Bloom Bins. Fresh Bloom Bins were created to add a fresh new idea to sustainability. As the story so often goes, exposure led to expansion. Tia saw the environmental problems and decided to be part of the solution. Today Tia encourages others to increase environmental engagement with education and employment. Health hazards related to trash and environmental injustices have caused havoc in so many communities. Tia, in her new business and active involvement in environmental organizations, hopes to achieve environmental justice and quality of life for all.
Tia is a member of the Ohio Recycling Coalition leadership team as Vice President of Community Outreach and also a member of the Ohio Recycling Coalition's Justice-Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council. Tia is a proud Mother of three positive focused children, a homeowner, and community advocate for Central Ohio.
