    Have you ever contemplated running for office, but weren’t sure what was involved?  Join us in June for Election Academy Boot Camp as we explore the "Basics and Beyond".   Election Academy was developed by the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce to educate individuals in the Westerville area who are considering running for an elected office.
     
    Whether seeking public office or serving as a campaign treasurer, manager or volunteer, attendees will find Election Academy invaluable in its provision of information on running a successful campaign, serving in public office and building coalitions.
     
    Selected speakers will be announced at a later date,  but will cover topics such as deciphering the campaign calendar, running an effective campaign, the role of ethics in public service, fundraising do's and don'ts and post-election responsibilities. 

    The final session will conclude with a reception and invitations will be extended to members of City Council, Board of Education, County Commissioners, and Township Trustees. 
     
    Cost of admission for all three sessions of the Academy is $50 for Chamber members, $60 for non members and $25 for each additional person attending from the same campaign team.

    Session 3- June 17, Westerville Chamber - 99 Commerce Park Dr., Suite A
