Creating a "Good Death" Plan: Scripting End-of-Life Wishes

The end of life. Now is the time to think about it, make decisions, and share with loved ones. While you still can. According to one survey, nearly 75% of us don't have advance directives (living will or healthcare power of attorney). Even a greater percentage have not had a conversation with their loved ones about their end-of-life wishes. After viewing a portion of the documentary, Facing Death, which examines the complicated reality of today’s modern medicalized death, participants will explore the process of how to choose a healthcare power of attorney who will follow their wishes; explore end-of-life decisions and care; as well as begin to script a plan of their wishes.
