Nature of Work
The Senior Center Chef oversees kitchen activities in the planning and preparation of Wednesday/Friday lunches and monthly special events. The Chef develops and proposes meal menus, requests appropriate supplies for meals and kitchen supplies while staying within established budgetary guidelines. The Chef participates in actual food preparation of soups and sandwiches, and a variety of entrées. The Chef also provides exceptional management of volunteers in meal program. SUPERVISION
