Ambassadors
Twenty-eight Chamber members to serve as "good will" ambassadors, making personal visits to member businesses and welcoming new members.
Chamber's Jim Near Scholarship
Works with a steering group to enforce guidelines and eligibility criteria for a minimum of 5 scholarships to be awarded to Westerville area senior high students.
Economic Development
Organized to identify ways by which the Chamber can become involved with business growth, development, and redevelopment as the community continues to evolve.
Education
Oversees partnerships among schools and businesses. The committee keeps the resource list updated for the "Partners for Achievement in Westerville Schools" program as well as maintaining continuity for the BEST (Building Excellent Schools for Today and the 21st Century) effort
Evening of Elegance Auction
A major event featuring auctions to raise proceeds for local charities, local student scholarships and for Chamber operations.
Golf Outing
An annual August outing for members and guests.
Membership Benefits
Evaluates current benefits, researches and selects additional benefits.
Membership Recruitment
Seeks membership prospects and recruits new members.
Music & Arts Festival
Organizes annual Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce Music & Arts Festival held at Heritage Park (corner of Cleveland Ave. and Main St.)
Program
Develops programs and special events to promote membership involvement and contacts between members.
Sensational Spring Social with Wine Tasting
A resort-casual attire event featuring wine tasting and food from area Chamber member food establishments.
Communications Committee
Helps establish an overall public relations/marketing effort on behalf of the Chamber with its activities and programs.
Women in Business Committee
Deliver meaningful educational opportunities to women in business while inspiring them to carry what they learn into their organizations through 3 or 4 meetings each year.
