Ambassadors
Chamber members who serve as "good will" ambassadors by making personal visits to stakeholder businesses and welcoming new members.
Chamber's Jim Near Scholarship
Works with a steering group to enforce guidelines and eligibility criteria for a minimum of five scholarships to be awarded to Westerville area senior high school students.
Economic Development
Organized to identify ways by which the Chamber can become involved with business growth, development, and redevelopment as the community continues to evolve.
Education
Oversees partnerships among schools and businesses. Updates the resource list for the "Partners for Achievement in Westerville Schools" program as well as maintaining continuity for the BEST (Building Excellent Schools for Today and the 21st Century) effort.
Evening of Elegance Auction
The Chamber's largest fundraising event featuring live and silent auctions. Raises proceeds for local charities, local student scholarships and for general Chamber operations.
Golf Outing
An annual outing in August for members and guests.
Membership Benefits
Evaluates current benefits, researches and selects additional benefits.
Membership Recruitment
Seeks membership prospects and recruits new members.
Music & Arts Festival
Organizes the annual Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce Music & Arts Festival held at Heritage Park.
Program Committee
Develops programs and special events (Quarterly Luncheons and Business After Hours) to promote involvement and contact between members.
Sensational Spring Social
A business-casual attire event featuring wine and beer tastings and food from area Chamber food establishments.
Women In Business Committee
Delivers meaningful educational opportunities to women in business while inspiring them to carry what they learn into their organizations.
Young Professionals Network
A community of people with similar ages and goals promoting and encouraging business and leadership opportunities while making a difference in the Westerville community.
