CEO, Flying Horse Farms
Mimi Dane is the CEO and President of Flying Horse Farms. She has led the evolution of camp from a new organization to an award-winning one that serves approximately 900 children with serious illnesses and their families each year.
Before joining camp in 2011, Dane was a partner at the global law firm now called Squire Patton Boggs, where her practice focused on commercial litigation. She also served as a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee, and she created and coordinated the Women’s Mentoring Program for the Columbus office. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Columbus YWCA and the Board of Directors of the Women’s Fund of Central Ohio, where she served as Board Chair.
Mimi graduated from The Ohio State University, J.D.,summa cum laude, Order of the Coif in 1989. She served as the Editor in Chief of The Ohio State University Law Journal. She obtained her Master’s Degree from Western Michigan University, and her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Norbert College in 1977.
