Experience a vibrant business community
Westerville realizes the importance
of its business community and
maintains strong support and
incentives to foster business growth
and retention within the
community. These strong support
initiatives within Westerville have
enabled the community to create an
environment that encourages job and
payroll growth.
With the implementation of a
city-owned Business Education &
Innovation Center (Community Data
Center), and formal business
incubator, these advantages can only
increase as Westerville makes its
way through the 21st century.
Fiber-optics infrastructure paired
with the data center provides
sustainable prosperity for
businesses, residents and community
partners.

Nearly 675 area businesses are
members of the four-star
accredited Chamber of
Commerce. |

In 2009, the City of
Westerville was ranked number 15
in the Top 100 list of America’s
"Best Places to Live" by MONEY®
Magazine. Westerville is the
only city in Central Ohio to receive
the distinction. Money recognized
Westerville’s parks and historic
Uptown in its feature, as well as
its proximity and ease of access to
Columbus. Westerville’s commitment
to economic development,
specifically attracting businesses
by providing tax incentives for new
construction, was also noted. |
